Find your Watershed!

A watershed is an area of land where all of the waters that drains off of or flows underneath it collects to the same place (such as a river). We all live in a watershed. Learn about yours by visiting our interactive map.

If your group works on watersheds, you can contribute to the online story by entering information about your group’s activities, events and volunteer needs. Adding your data to the site’s comprehensive database strengthens the ability of citizens to protect the health of streams, lakes and estuaries across North Carolina!
